Permission

Some things don't need to be softened.

Permission is for the moment after restraint.

After being polite.

After explaining.

After making yourself smaller to keep the peace.

These pieces aren't about being loud - they're about being clear.  About naming the line instead of hinting at it.  About choosing self-respect over comfort.

You don't owe anyone access.  You don't owe politeness to disrespect.  And you don't need permission to say so.

Wear it when silence no longer serves you.
